There is a rail link from the airport to central Rome’s Termini stazione . At the airport the signs to the trains lead you on a rather tortuous route. Direct trains leave every half hour and the journey should take approx. 35 mins. Buy your through ticket to Chiusi at the airport as the queues at Termini are dire. The airport trains arrive and depart from Binario (platform) 22 at Roma Termini. At Termini change for a mainline train travelling north - Intercity trains departing for Florence or Milan, stop at Chiusi and take about 11/2 hours. There are slower trains called 'Regionale' which also stop at Castiglione del Lago.
from Rome Ciampino
There are coaches that go from the airport to Rome Termini stazione and you can either book on line or at the airport.
from Florence
From Florence airport take a taxi to Firenze Campo Marte stazione (currently about €21) where you can pick up an intercity train destined for Rome or Naples which stops at Chiusi . You can also get Regionale trains at this station or from Firenze Santa Maria Novella.
from Pisa
You can get a train at the airport which stops at Florence where you can pick up the connecting train to Chiusi. By Road If you approach the area from the direction of Castiglione del Lago, drive through Castiglione towards Citta della Pieve and Chiusi. Turn right at the roundabout with a fontain at its centre signposted Vittelino, Gioiella, Pozzuolo and continue on that road for ten – 12 minutes. Near Gioiella the road bends round to the left with a right hand turning running straight ahead for Pozzuolo and Casamaggiore, don’t take the side turning stay on the road to Gioiella. At the village turn right at the bar, the turning is quite sharp and is signposted for Porto. Follow the road for about three minutes when you will come over the brow of a hill and start a long slope down. We are the white stone house on the left at the bottom of the hill.
